It’s a cool experience when a music placement helps you learn about a sub-culture that you didn’t know existed.
My track “Junior’s Blues” has gotten a lot of love recently from the Discovery Network, and was featured on Episodes 9 and 10 of the series “Vegas Rat Rods”
I’ve learned that rat rods are the grittier, no-frills cousin to hot rods. As described on Wikipedia, “Originally, rat rods were a counter-reaction to the high-priced ‘customs’ and typical hot rods, many of which were seldom driven and served only a decorative purpose. The rat rod’s inception signified a throwback to the hot rods of the earlier days of hot-rod culture—built according to the owner’s abilities and with the intention of being driven. Biker, greaser, rockabilly, psychobilly, and punk sub-cultures are often cited as influences that shaped rat rodding.”
I’m really proud to have written the score for Archaeologists in Teotihuacan on the Arizona PBS show Catalyst. Catalyst is a science and technology program highlighting research at Arizona State University. This episode focuses on the contributions of student researches as they map an ancient Mexican city, and gain insight into the culture of the Teotihuacan.
My score features flutes, marimba, and percussion paired with electronic textures.

I had the awesome pleasure of composing the new theme song for the Arizona PBS show Catalyst. The theme features Adele Etheridge Woodson as co-producer and violinist. Catalyst airs Wednesdays at 9:00 on Arizona PBS.
My track, “Intensity” was recently featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode “Iced Out”. In the episode Kim, Kanye and crew travel to Iceland on vacation.

I recently had my track “Hip Hop Mediterraneo” featured on the Travel Channel show Booze Traveler.
The track, which features fast bouzouki lines over a classic hip-hop beat, was featured on the Episode “Greece, the Morning After” which is available for purchase on iTunes and YouTube.
